It's not uncommon for somebody to wonder how much schooling does a chiropractor have and what's our background education?

Is it less than medical school, or is it the same?

Is it a weekend crash course?

Here's the information I have for you.

While I don't wear a stethoscope around my neck daily to try to impress upon you my qualifications, as a chiropractor in certain states, we are considered primary care physicians, which means we need to be able to have all the background medical knowledge to make sure that when you come
to see us, you're in the right place.

I also need to decide that as a chiropractor,

I am best fit to take care of the situation you're here for.

In the medical world, they are well trained on prescribing medications, knowing what's right for you in your medicine cabinet and what's not.

There's a really big difference in how they take care of you and how I take care of you.

When it comes to background education classes, the rigorous courses are just the same.

I probably spent more hours in an anatomy class than any other doctor you know.

My job as a chiropractor is to try to keep you away from needing the medical world, needing prescriptions, and needing surgeries to make sure that you're taking care of your body in the best possible way and living your life to its fullest.
